If you see a different number appear on the screen when you call your loved ones, don't worry—it's completely normal!
This is the local calling feature. 📞
This feature provides better call quality and uses the GSM network—meaning it doesn’t require an internet connection. In fact, your call is routed through a landline number that acts as an access point to the telephone network. This intermediary number is the one that appears on your screen, but there will be no change for the person you’re calling!
Calls made through the telephone network use only the minutes from your Libon account. You will not be charged any minutes from your mobile carrier’s plan.
Is there anything important I should check before calling?
Yes, and this is a crucial point that should not be overlooked. Before using this feature, make sure your mobile carrier’s plan includes unlimited calls to landlines in the country associated with your Libon number. For example, if you have a French Libon number, verify that your plan covers calls to French landlines. This is because, technically, your phone makes a call to a landline in the country where you live in order to connect to the Libon servers.
Also, if you’re traveling abroad, remember to disable local calls. When roaming, using the GSM network can result in significant charges. In this case, choose the Wi-Fi/Data option in the app’s call settings. 😊

If your mobile plan does not include unlimited calls to landlines in your country, you may be charged additional fees. If you have any questions, contact your mobile carrier before activating this feature.
