Send money quickly to a loved one, even if they don’t have a bank account. With Libon’s cash pickup money transfer service, your recipient can easily collect their funds at a MoneyGram location. Learn how to send money with ease.
The steps below will show you how to make a money transfer with a cash withdrawal. To make a money transfer to an e-wallet, click here.
1. Start your transfer
Open the Libon app
Open the Shop menu
Select Send money
2. Choose the delivery method
If your recipient’s country is eligible for cash pickup, you have two options:
💳 Mobile wallet: Funds are credited directly to your recipient’s mobile wallet;
💵 Cash pickup: Your recipient picks up the money in cash at a MoneyGram location;
Select cash pickup to continue.
3. Enter your security code
Choose a 4-digit security code: you'll need it to validate your next money transfers.
4. Enter the amount
Enter the amount you wish to send
💰 Please note: the minimum amount is €50.
5. Fill in the beneficiary information
First name and last name
Phone number
Relation
Reason for the transfer

6. Finalize the payment
Click on the Pay button
Then go to your bank application to authenticate yourself and validate the payment
🔐 Mandatory step: Identity verification
Once the payment has been validated, you need to verify your identity to finalize the transfer. Here's how to proceed:
Click on Verify my identity, then on Start.
2. Enter your personal details
3. Click Open Verification Page then Okay, I understand
4. Allow access to your camera by clicking Authorize
5. Scan both sides of your original ID, first the front, then the back.
If you have a passport, scan the page with your personal information, where your photo appears.
6. Take a selfie video
7. Proceed with the electronic signature, then click Finish.
Verification is usually completed in less than 5 minutes. Withdrawals are available immediately after approval.
🎉 Your code is ready!
Once the verification is complete, a unique withdrawal code is automatically generated. You can copy it and send it directly to the recipient via WhatsApp, text message, or any other messaging app.
The transaction will appear as completed in your Libon app as soon as the recipient has withdrawn the funds. 😊
💡Good to know
Your beneficiary will need this code and a valid form of ID to withdraw the cash.
