To enhance your Libon calling experience, we've come up with a new feature called Local Calls. This feature allows you to use your Libon mobile plan without the need for an Internet connection or the Libon application itself.
Prerequisites:
⚠️ You must have taken out a package with your operator that includes free calls to French numbers (in France). To access this Libon service, the access point is a French telephone number (+33....). Make sure that your operator does not charge extra for dialing this number!
Contact our support team to request activation of this feature in your Libon account.
Launch the call from the application
When the feature is enabled, open Libon and tap on Profile > Settings > Enable Local Calls. Choose one of the three options: No / Yes / Ask me.
Start your call as usual in Libon. Depending on the parameters you have selected on ⬆️, Libon will set up your call.
2. The phone number to dial to get in touch with the recipient is displayed.
On an iPhone: press the call key and our server number will connect you to your desired telephone number
On an Android: select GSM Call. The call application screen will open once you have selected the contact to call in your Libon application. Simply press the call button to initiate the local call to this number via our server number.
3. And that's it, the call is established and the duration of the call will be debited from your Libon account instead of by your operator! 🥳
Please note! Our server number will connect you to telephone numbers based on the minutes available for calls in your Libon account. It will therefore be your purchased call minutes that will be deducted even if the connection to the call is made locally via our telephone server number.
