Your Libon calls won't go through? Here are the checks to make, in order.
1. Android phones only: turn off data saver
Why?
When data saver is turned on and you call using mobile data (without Wi-Fi), your Libon calls may fail to go through after a few seconds, because this feature prevents apps from using data in the background.
How do I go about it?
Open your phone's Settings > Connections > Data saver, then turn off the Turn on now option.
📱 Android or iPhone: the following checks apply to all phones.
2. Update the app and restart your phone
Check that you are using the latest version of the Libon app. If not, update it, then restart your phone before making a new call.
3. Try another Internet connection
If your calls drop on Wi-Fi, try mobile data, and vice versa. If you use a private Wi-Fi connection, restarting your router regularly helps keep the connection stable.
4. Check the coverage of the person you're calling
Whatever calling app is used (GSM, Libon or other), the person you're calling needs good GSM coverage for the call to stay stable.
5. Are your calls still dropping?
Try local calls, which improve call quality.
Contact us via the chat, giving us the number called and the date and time of the dropped call: this will help us look into the problem.
